Dr. George Saunders brings decades of expertise and passion to Desert Vision Optometry as your trusted eye doctor. A native of the Inland Empire, Dr. Saunders earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from UC Riverside before completing his Doctorate in Optometry at Southern California College of Optometry. His career began with six years at Redlands Eye Medical Group, where he worked alongside surgeons specializing in cornea and cataract procedures.
With 29 years of private practice experience, Dr. Saunders has dedicated his career to providing exceptional eye care while staying current with the latest advances in optometry and general healthcare. His commitment to using state-of-the-art equipment and continuing education ensures you receive the most advanced care available.
Dr. Marisol Hernandez
Dr. Hernandez is originally from Northern California, and has lived in Southern California since 2005. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from California State University Los Angeles and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences. Her externship sites include: the Eye Care Institute WesternU Health Los Angeles, Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Tennessee, and private practices in California and Arizona.
