Dr. Saunders is from the Inland Empire and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from the University of California at Riverside.

He graduated with his Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry.

He spent the first six years of his career at Redlands Eye Medical Group working with surgeons specializing in cornea and cataract surgery.  Since then, he has been in private practice for 29 years before joining Dr. Esquibel at Desert Vision Optometry.

Dr. Saunders strives to practice at the highest level through using the state-of-the-art equipment at Desert Vision.  Also, through continually updating his education through classes allows him to keep at the forefront of ever-changing advances in ocular and general healthcare.
